Hardwood Floors are commonly used for sports floors, drama studios and multi use areas. Government legislation sets the standards for these types of floors and indoor performance floors must now conform to BSEN 14904: 2006 which was updated in July 2006 and supersedes BS7044 Part 4 which is now obsolete.
We have worked with and supplied ‘New Era Cradles‘ to the sports industry for many years and have tested and updated the performance in line with the new standards.
It is important that the correct floor is specified for performance and safety as about one third of all sports injuries are due to the properties of the floor, which are either poorly maintained or unsuitable for use.
With our long serving experience, we are able to advice on the best type of floor to suit the environment and use and can also work out a tailor made maintenance programme to improve life cycle costs of the floor.
We use the highest quality products available and are approved installation Contractors of Junckers, Boen and New Era Performance floors.

We are signed up to a Government scheme called ‘Contractors Health and Safety’ (CHAS). It means unless you meet certain criteria you can not do any work for local councils, as we are involved in many local government run projects such as sports facilities, schools, colleges and universities, we signed up for this qualification. The CHAS certification ensures we are totally compliant with all Health & Safety requirements.
We were also an approved contractor for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
